Sequences and Bells for Tinnitus

overview

Bell sounds are one of the things that really help my tinnitus. Probably because the sparkle of them has a kind of natural amplitude modulation. They’re really good at covering most of the frequencies.

This selection is composed of bells and electronic sequences, mostly using randomised sequences so the brain doesn’t have anything to settle on and ignore.

The Theory

The natural amplitude modulation is soothing, as referenced in various research papers.

The way that the bell sounds cover the important frequencies helps with a little masking but more importantly the fully randomised sequences serve as an active distractor.
