A second album of variations using the theory of acoustic neuromodulation, using the musical scale for higher tolerance.
I remixed some sounds, processed the lengths, created blended sequences and took a little inspiration from the things that Stéphane Pigeon’s MyNoise generator did to the original sequence.
The Theory
This again uses the original idea form the Tass et al paper. But it features a different take on the process by having more randomised and blended sounds.
My working theory was to take the spirit of the treatment and twist it in ways that were pleasing to the ear, working more with intuition (and plenty of testing)as opposed to creating purely from the scientific perspective.
